Brooke Weisbrod’s career in sports media began after a standout athletic career of her own. A former three-sport Division I athlete at Coastal Carolina University and professional basketball player in Germany, Brooke transitioned from playing the game to helping audiences understand it, feel its energy, and connect with the stories behind it.

Since joining ESPN in 2004, Brooke has built a broadcasting career across ESPN, ABC, and the biggest stages in basketball, covering high school, college, and professional competitions. Her work includes the WNBA Finals, Women’s NCAA Tournament, NBA Combine and Lottery, McDonald’s All-American Games, Jordan Brand Classic, Chipotle High School National Championship, and more.
Brooke’s unique perspective comes from following the game at every level, building lasting relationships with players from rising prospects to national stars. On air, on stage, and in conversation, she combines seasoned sports insight, natural charisma, and authentic storytelling to make every audience feel part of the moment.

Brooke earned a softball scholarship initially at Coastal Carolina University where she also competed in basketball and tennis, bringing the discipline and perspective of a three-sport athlete.

Two-Time Hall of Fame Selection:
